We have gone from Spring to Winter and back to Spring again in only one week. Sun, snow, rain. Weather is full of surprises in Indiana!
As of today, we are halfway through the last quarter of the year. Progress Reports will be coming out today. Please look for them. Use these reports to help determine what your student needs to do to finish the year on a high note!
Four weeks from today, we will have our annual Field Day. This is a day of fun activities and a picnic lunch for everybody. Stay tuned for more details.
If you have not yet registered your returning students for the 2023-24 school year, please do so as soon as possible. Mrs Otero is here to help you complete the process! Failure to complete registration means that we will be calling families on our waitlist to fill available spaces in the classrooms. There are hundreds of students on our wait lists. Don’t lose your place at HAST by forgetting to register your child.
If you have not paid your school fees, please do that as well. Ms Czmiel is here to help you complete the process. We offer multiple ways for our families to make these payments. Thank you to all of you who have paid your fees for the year!
Most of us know Mrs Berg as the lady in the lunchroom…but she is also an avid and accomplished bowler. Good luck to Mrs Berg as she participates in a statewide women’s bowling competition this weekend!
We have just five weeks left. They will go by very quickly. They will be filled with sporting events, fine arts events, end of year celebrations, and, of course, 8th grade Promotion Ceremony and Graduation Ceremonies for the Class of 2024.

Hemos pasado de la primavera al invierno y de nuevo a la primavera en solo una semana. Sol, nieve, lluvia. ¡El clima está lleno de sorpresas en Indiana!
A día de hoy, estamos en la mitad del último trimestre del año. Los informes de progreso saldrán hoy. Por favor, búsquelos. ¡Use estos informes para ayudar a determinar lo que su estudiante debe hacer para terminar el año con una nota alta!
Dentro de cuatro semanas, tendremos nuestro Día de Campo anual. Este es un día de actividades divertidas y un almuerzo campestre para todos. Estén atentos para más detalles.
Si aún no ha registrado a sus estudiantes que regresan para el año escolar 2023-24, hágalo lo antes posible. ¡La Sra. Otero está aquí para ayudarlo a completar el proceso! Si no completa el registro, llamaremos a las familias en nuestra lista de espera para llenar los espacios disponibles en las aulas. Hay cientos de estudiantes en nuestras listas de espera. No pierda su lugar en HAST por olvidar registrar a su hijo.
Si no ha pagado sus cuotas escolares, por favor hágalo también. La Sra. Czmiel está aquí para ayudarlo a completar el proceso. Ofrecemos múltiples formas para que nuestras familias realicen estos pagos. ¡Gracias a todos los que habéis pagado vuestras cuotas del año!
La mayoría de nosotros conocemos a la Sra. Berg como la señora del comedor… pero también es una ávida y consumada jugadora de bolos. ¡Buena suerte a la Sra. Berg mientras participa en una competencia estatal de bolos para mujeres este fin de semana!
Solo nos quedan cinco semanas. Pasarán muy rápido. Estarán llenos de eventos deportivos, eventos de bellas artes, celebraciones de fin de año y, por supuesto, la Ceremonia de Promoción de 8 grado y Ceremonias de Graduación para la Clase de 2024.
