This has been an exceptionally beautiful week of sunny days and warm temperatures. Spring is definitely here.
We are still registering students for next year. If you have not already completed registration for your HAST student who is returning next year, please complete this as soon as possible. The same for siblings who you want to come to HAST next year. The same for new students coming to HAST next year. Mrs Otero is working very efficiently to have registration and enrollments for next year completed before this school year ends in May. Congratulations to HAST seniors Aramia Gutierrez and Brandon Valdes Chavez. Each of them have participated in competitions as part of their programs at the Area Career Centers. They each one second place in their respective competitions and will be moving to the national competition level in June. Good luck, Aramia and Brandon!!
Boys and Girls Club: This is a reminder that the Boys and Girls Club does NOT offer transportation on the days that School City of Hammond is not in session. May 2nd is the next day that they will be closed. If your child takes the Boys and Girls Club bus after school, please make alternate plans for May 2.
The Class of 2023 is raffling a jar with over $100 in cash. Raffle tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Valdez in the main office, Ms. Projovic, or at the Nut Pass desk on Thursday and Friday mornings. The drawing takes place Friday, April 21st.

Esta ha sido una semana excepcionalmente hermosa de días soleados y temperaturas cálidas. Definitivamente la primavera está aquí.

Felicitaciones a los estudiantes de último año de HAST, Aramia Gutiérrez y Brandon Valdés Chavez.
