Back to School Jamboree
The 17th Annual Back-to-School Jamboree will be held at Indiana University Northwest, 3400 Broadway, Gary, in the Savannah Center on Saturday, September 9 from 8:30 a. m — 4 p.m. Refreshment will be served. The first 300 students will receive free back to school supplies, there will be also a exposition with the best schools with resources on what you need to know to select the best schools depending on your location.
The Jamboree will feature a number of competitions for elementary, middle and high school students. ???? ??? 21 There will be video games, double Dutch jump rope, dancing and finger paint competitions and even an option to purchase the best gaming monitor. There will be free haircuts, in addition to the 3 on 3 basketball tournament.
Trophies and other prizes will be presented to those participating in the three on three basketball competition. Registration is $30.00 per team. To register, persons should call 887-2046. Registrations will also be taken at Beautiful Things in the Village Shopping Mall. ??????? ??? ???? On site registration is $45.00 per team.
