In science this week we’ve been working on a treasure hunt. Clues to 5 different places are hidden, the last one a clue to treasure. On each clue there’s a measurements and degrees that tell how to get the next one. The purpose for this lesson is to teach children how to use a compass and how to follow directions. ???? ???? ???? ????? In the classroom we’ve discussed whether it’s better to use a real compass or the compass app
on the iPad. Students agree that having both at hand would be the most logical thing to do, as we saw proof on a video. Technology is great, but might not always have connection or be reliable. The older ways of doing things are great too, but may be confusing and more difficult to use, even if accurate. Like I said before, it was concluded that each technique is good and bad in its on ways. ????? ???? ???????
