Hammond Academy of Science and Technology eighth-grader wins state charter school contest

HAMMOND – Adriana Lopez, an eighth-grader at the Hammond Academy of Science and Technology, was honored last week by the Indianapolis-based Institute for Quality Education for her video submission to its statewide contest, “My School Choice Story.” Lopez was one of more than 100 students who entered the statewide contest, submitting a video that has been posted to Youtube. ????? ???? ????
