Welcome to HAST!

Hammond Academy of Science & Technology (HAST) will begin accepting applications again in August for the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you for considering us for your child’s education. At HAST we are committed to a 21st century education that embraces Technology, critical thinking, problem solving, cooperation, and equipping students with these skills so they may be successful in life after high school.

Application Process

To apply, please click on the “Apply Today” above and complete an online application. For those preferring to submit an application in person, kindly contact the main office for assistance.

Once on the application page, begin the process by selecting “Application”. You will be directed to choose between the application for current 5th graders or for grades 6-11. Please ensure you select the correct grade level to avoid any potential issues with your submission. Once you’ve made your selection, you will need to create an account, after which you can proceed to complete the application.

At the conclusion of the application, ensure that all check marks are green before submitting. Once successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, please contact Mrs. Otero at [email protected].

For Current 5th Grade (Applying for 6th grade next year) Applicants: The application will reopen in September.

For Grades 6-11 Applicants: Applications are only accepted during the school year. Please reach out to the main office if you have any questions.
