Good afternoon!
First, the obvious: Next Monday is our first day back to school. Students are expected to attend in uniform. All grade levels will report directly to their grade level classrooms. Staff will be on hand to assist new students find their grade level classrooms. The grade level teachers will provide homeroom assignments and schedules first thing Monday morning. ?????????? ???? ?????
The school day is the same as last year: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Please be on time.
Parents and students (especially at the high school level) are encouraged to log onto PowerSchool to view student schedules. If you have any questions or concerns, contact our new Guidance Counselor directly, Ms Scannell, [email protected]. Ms Scannell and the guidance staff will be available starting Tuesday, 8/28, to meet with students to review their schedules. Any schedule revisions will depend on course and space availability, as well as credit requirements for Core40 diploma completion.
We have received a number of questions regarding HAST logo polos. ????? ???? ??? HAST will be selling polos on-site. We await the arrival of our first shipment either later this week or early next week. ???? ?????? The cost of these polos will be between $15 and $20, depending on the size. Our vendor will also be able to apply logos to non-logo polos for a very moderate price. Stay tuned for more information. Remember, students ARE able to wear solid non-logo polos.
For student drivers, we have a limited number of parking spaces available in the southeast corner of our property. Student drivers need to review the student handbook section that details what they need to provide to HAST administration in order to receive a school parking pass.
Ms Radtke is organizing the 2nd annual Bizarre Bazaar 5K run/walk will be held Saturday, September 15th, starting and ending in Harrison Park. You can pick up a flyer in the office or gym once school begins.
A final reminder to continue to use the school website as your first stop for information.
