We are asking that you bring in non-perishable food items to be donated to the Saint Joseph’s Soup Kitchen that is located in downtown Hammond very near our HAST school site. Our neighbors are pleased and excited about our involvement with the community. Items collected are used to make Thanksgiving baskets for families in our area.
The grade that brings in the most items will be treated to a DRESS DOWN DAY. Last year, we collected over 500 cans of food!
The food drive begins Monday, November 5th and ends on Friday, November 16th.
